Progroup becomes premium sponsor for Inline Skater Hockey

Landau, 18.05.2021 – Progroup becomes premium sponsor of the only active inline skater hockey club in Rhineland-Palatinate. The IHC Landau 1999 e.V. is represented in active league play with a 1st team, a youth team (U16) and a student team. Christoph Braun, 1st board member of the IHC Landau, and Maximilian Heindl, Chief Development Officer and member of the board of Progroup, have now signed the sponsoring contract. The goal of the commitment is to expand the club's youth talent work.

In addition, Progroup is involved in the fittings of the club's new arena. The new sports facility on the old field handball court in Landau-Arzheim will be part of a sports and multigenerational parc. It has been initiated by the club as part of the "Commune of the Future" project together with ASV Arzheim.

"We always want to be a good neighbour to the region we work in," explains Maximilian Heindl. "Inline skater hockey is a niche sport that IHC Landau very successfully has occupied. This achievement and also the planned new construction of the arena deserve great respect. We are all the more pleased to be able to support the successful club work and here especially the work with children and young people."

Christoph Braun, 1st chairman of the IHC Landau, is sure that success is achieved when a team stands together: "The arena project is largely based on the active members‘ collaboration. A large part of the total costs can be covered by the subsidies from the Golden Plan, which supports sports facilities. However, the IHC still relies on financial support to generate the necessary funds for the building project. Therefore, we are really grateful for Progroup's generous commitment."
